The FBI spokesman also said it was his "understanding" the Mexican personnel who crossed the border were not military but instead might have been a paramilitary police unit.Translation: "We really couldn't care less about this."

a squad of Mexican paramilitary police reportedly crossed into the United States and kidnapped the family on their property near Candalaria, Texas. But of course Homieland Security wont close the borders...profile illegals...deport illegals...
and wants to make illegals US Citizens...or at least eligable for benefits....

House Immigration Reform Caucus chairman Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., told the Washington Times a year ago that his office had documented 118 instances where Mexican military or law enforcement had been seen on U.S. soil. In 60 percent of those cases, he said, the Mexicans were armed.Border crossings like these are unacceptable. Our federal government needs to show Mexico that this is unacceptable.

Well, first we get confirmation from another source (earlier today) and then we get a lot of back-tracking. Wonder what the real story is?

There has been no confirmation. The NewsMax and WND "stories" were by the same author.

A lot of unanswered questions. For one it's possible the family members are all Mexican citizens and were doing something in Mexico. It doesn't give the Mexican police the right to come over "in hot pursuit" but chances are the family was up to something it shouldn't have been up to in Mexico. It's not unusual for certain types to use the border to commit crimes and avoid the consequences.

Our government has accepted Fox's demands for the "whole enchilada" when he explained that there would be Mexican dual citizens and Mexican elections held in the USA, the Mexican government has been building it's Consulates on every street corner, Fox said these dual-citizens would still be under the jurisdiction of the Mexican government. USA citizenship is only for the purpose of gaining total access to US welfare and government benefits.

the actual investigation is being conducted by the DHS IMO, Dougherty had sources that leaked info DHS didn't want out here. So Newsmax is like Debka, they can be right often. When I saw the confirmation and was pinged this was also on WND with more details I began to think government cover-up. I am glad this family is returned but we need to demand answers from DHS how this can be allowed.

It will be interesting to know more details. Somehow I have my doubts an innocent all-American family was just out hunting rabbits and the Mexican army or police decided to come over and haul them into Mexico. They may have been working for opposing drug cartels is my guess.

But even if they were up to no good, we can't have Mexican police entering our country.
To: CindyDawg
We have all the rest of them coming over --- there is no "secure" border. No border control at all ---- the worst criminals can come over, the poorest indigents can come over, the drug lords come over, ---- so what stops the police?

I agree they should not come over --- but this is the result of an open border. Chances are the family isn't here legally either.
