Rush did commit a faux paux today. I wonder who else noticed? He was talking about the Ohio woman who was sentanced for breastfeeding her baby while driving 65mph. The Ohio woman's defense was that her religion required her to do what her husband commanded. Then Rush said something very close to: If that's a legitimate defense, if I were them, I'd tell the judge I liked peyote.
I was surprised by that comment.

I heard the comment and failed to connect it in my mind to his own situation. I guess the fact that I was multi-tasking at the time explains that, but how do you figure that's a faux pas? I still don't see the problem.
