Listen, just because someone has a different opinion, doesn't constitute abuse. I see no posting violations, and we are not babysitters for threads. If you all continue to ping us and hit abuse, on non-violations of the posting guidelines, we will have to pull start pulling these threads. Refute the arguement on the thread, not on the abuse reports or by pinging the mods to every post.

With all due respect, the poster in question doesn't have a difference in opinion, there’s something else going on here.

The poster in question is aware that this is a sensitive issue and is hoping to inflame passions and divert the discussion into another direction by jumping into a discussion thread and offering a contrary opinion showing no demonstrable understanding of the issue.

The poster is making it necessary to once again go over facts and details that have already been explicated ad nauseum in earlier threads months ago. Such behavior not only contributes nothing to the general understanding of the issue, it is calculated to be deliberately disruptive.

If the poster is able to succeed in convincing a FR Moderator to pull a thread because he/she/it caused someone else to become so angry that they did something they shouldn’t – well, that would be a dream come true. As it is, the poster is probably rubbing its hand with glee at all the attention and disruption caused so far…

I don’t think that Admin Moderators should be called in to deal with such creatures, either, by the way. I have posted a link in [#14] to a bit of advice I found on the proper response to such posts.
