Actually hating President Bush is a sign of a new mental disorder infecting most liberals and many pseudo conservatives. BDS/Bush Derangement Syndrome: the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency -- nay -- the very existence of George W. Bush.
Thanks for that and for the link to that column.
I've given this matter a lot of thought and studied it extensively. I've learned that the vast majority of those who hate Bush and who suffer from BDS are Generation X folks and younger. Nearly all of us who are baby-boomers love President Bush are sticking with him!!!
It's those younger folks. What can we do with them? ;-)

Actually, out here in California, some of GW's biggest supporters are the 30 some group and the late 20 group.
Most are young parents, and 9/11 really impacted them.
These young voters were part of the reason we were able to vote out Herr Davis.
I see more rats in the Boomers and the pre Boomers my age out here in California. For the most part they have hated America since the 1960/70's and relate very well to the Clintoons and the thugs who support the Clintoons. Howie Dean is a favorite of many who don't support the Clintoons.

Hey, I'm a generation Xer and I voted for Clinton first term. I was 20 and full of all sorts of ideals instilled in me from kindergarten. "Wouldn't it be great if everyone had the same thing?" I also thought Bill Clinton was "cooler" than George Bush because Bill Clinton went on MTV and "seemed" to care about me and my generation. George Bush didn't know what a grocery store scanner was (or so I thought after reading the biased media portrayal of that). After growing up a bit, realizing that while it's nice for everyone to have the same thing in theory. Fact is that I was working my butt off while others were slacking and they got part of what I worked for. I also had children and got some morals up under me and realized that I didn't want a sleazebag cheater/lying jerk running this country. By the time his terms was up, I voted for George W. Bush.
I was grateful that Clinton did the welfare reform act. If a republican had pushed for it, it wouldn't have gotten anywhere. I DO hate that damn medicare drug bill though. Policitally I understand it, pocketbook wise, I don't.

If I were you, I'd be more worried about what all these Gen-X folks w/BDS do to you once you reach retirement age and are no longer "a productive citizen".
I might also say that you don't have a clue. Its mostly the Gen-Xers (I hate that term) that are having kids, are deciding to homeschool them, having the mom stay home with the kids, taking a stand for traditional family values, etc, etc, and generally moving the country more conservative IMHO.
