I am beginning to think that they do see it. They know it is insulting and they also know they have NO chance of changing anyone's mind. But they are playing to the big contributors ($$$) that enjoy the controversy.

You would be correct if these watermelons actually did care about animals... but they don't! There was an article posted just a while back here on how they would just kill animals brought to their shelters.
