Randi [Rhodes] admitted yesterday on her show that she is the "I know who is behind this" un-named person who has spread life to the Rush story about money laundering. The long simmering feud between her and Rush is progressing quickly. I hope he squashes her like a bug. She has been influencing her condo commando listeners to pressure State Attorney Barry Krisher(D) to prosecute Rush. Apparently, their calls to his office have had an impact.

I found this posted on a thread I started about an Al Gore at the Movies review. THANX to Freeper Herbivore for bringing this to our attention. Now does anybody out there still think this investigation isn't politically motivated?

BTW, Randi Rhodes is a vicious FAR LEFT radio talk show host broadcasting out of 1290 AM in West Palm Beach. For the past year she has been on a desperate mission to be the annointed liberal radio talk show host to go up against Rush.

Actually it's worse than you think. Randi Rhodes has been desperately trying to get herself noticed so she could be the nationally syndicated radio talk show host to go up against Rush. Her vendetta is both politically motivated and motivated by PR efforts to get herself into the limelight. You can read what "Algore" wrote about her HERE. It is a movie review of The Italian Job but a large part of the review covers the desperate efforts by Randi Rhodes to get herself noticed.

If you can catch Randi Rhodes before the WJNO signal fades away, it is a truly amazing experience. We are talking about a FULL MOONER here. Randi has a conspiracy theory about almost everything including why she is not syndicated nationally (a right-wing conspiracy led by Rush Limbaugh is targeting her). To listen to Randi is like driving by a big car wreck. Horrible to look at but it definitely draws your attention such as Randi's assertion that her biggest fantasy in life is to give a "Lewinsky" to Bill Clinton aboard Air Force One. Even when Randi goes off the topic of politics, she still sounds NUTS. Randi is probably the last person on the planet to actually believe that OJ Simpson is searching the golf courses of the world in order to track down his ex-wife's killers.

Right now Randi's big topic is how she wants to be syndicated nationally. She knows that Anita Drobny of Anshell and myself are looking for a liberal radio talk show alternative to Rush Limbaugh. As a result, Randi is shamelessly promoting herself for this slot on the air to the extent of asking her listeners to call up the radio syndication services and plead her case.

Her show immediately follows Rush on that same station.

This means that while she is preparing to go on the air, she is listening to Rush and probably doing a little liberal 'foaming at the mouth'.

The ratings show a huge drop when he goes off and she comes on, even in that liberal market. That has to be a burr under her saddle.

Rhodes is horrible. Really, I have heard far better liberal commentators, she is simply awful. Typical foaming at the mouth liberal. I mean, the liberals think Rush is bad, this women becomes incoherent. And you should hear when a caller calls in to challenge her views, she is really pathetic, they often get the best of her before she says something dumb and then hangs up on them. Alan Colms is much, much better.
