The one deviation from a dream..........

Cutting grass and turf maint. I now hay and crop as much acreage as possible, but cutting grass becomes a routine which has you starting again every week for four days. The sheep thing is working out nicely. I used to cut grass all seven. With some clever rotational(progressive) grazing and fence building, I figure I'll have it down to two days next year.

I should have known though. Sometimes we ignore the obvious.

Some day I'll explain rolling turf. Pulling a seven ton roller behind you to keep the turf smoothe as glass when you live in a frosty climate is a pain.......
