Well, Global Security is at it again. I noticed a few days ago that they had a link on their site called "Target Iran". The destination page has a countdown clock that I think started at 60 days and is now down to 58 days and counting.
TOPICS: Front Page News; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: global; globalsecurityorg; invasion; iran; securityorg; war
Have these guys "flipped their biscuit"? Is there any chance we would strike Iran by early February? If so, would it be an airstrike, or would ground forces possibly be involved?

GlobalSecurity.org is a Leftist site, run by noted Leftist John Pike, and advocates the agenda of other Leftist sites, the links to which they post frequently on their ideological pages.
They refer to their tracking of US forces deployed overseas as, "Where Are The Legions?", an undisguised "Yankee-imperialist" smear from the 60's.
While I and my fellow analysts rate their data-gathering skills as first-class, their ideological slant means we have to wade through Leftist BS to get the data. I haven't the time or patience to suffer these fools.
GlobalSecurity.org is no longer on our watch list, and I encourage others not to give them the web hit they so desperately need.

Yes, I caught that "legions" bit. The site does offer a ton of military info, though. Anyone know a similar site that is not run by leftists?

I've got several links to more dependable sites at my watch desk. When I get back on duty Saturday, I'll post a few.

Tracking and posting on the world wide web, the locations of American troops?
Isn't this the activity of American enemies?

Nope. Not at all.
Besides, it's not like 8-digit grid co-ordinates are there. Not even GlobalSec can do that. Their data is days old, at least.
I can get unit locations off of certain threads on FR - not at all current or accurate, but they're there. Does that make it the activity of America's enemies?

Mmmmmm...! Target Iran. How and when?
Who cares for that website? Who is the supporter or founder of that webpage?
DoD? I do not think so...
But, a small scale of attacks on Mullahs' bases will help Iranian freedom fighters to get rid of them easier, sooner and better.
