What a lame attempt at an analogous situation.

First of all, imaginative play is important in a child's development, and they get plenty of it on their own without making up Santa.

Secondly, you are not the initiator of a lie when you watch your daughter start playing with dolls herself. You are with Santa Claus.

Also, with Santa, if you declare the truth, you are declaring the truth about a being that OTHERS foist upon your child as being a real person. If you would be so cruel as to attack your child for playing with a doll, you would be declaring the truth about something your daughter created in her fertile imagination. Thus, these are inherently different situations. You can't compare the two.

It would be wrong to do option B with the dolls for sure.

In other words, I don't dispute pagan interests in Christrian policies but I do support Christrianity.

The point being, Christ didn't participate in partisan politics and, indeed, loathed them, for the purpose of preaching the indelible truth of, "Do unto others," which I live.

No greek, Roman, or otherwise gnostic contrivance will supplant the true nature of Christ's message, which is, no force or fraud will force my actions.

In that regard, have a Merry Christmas or Solstice or whatever you worship. Inersert projection here.
