Sean "P. Diddy" Combs threw a mogul-sized fit backstage at VH1's Big in '03 awards when he found out he was only an award presenter, not an award winner, reports The New York Post.

"Puffy showed up at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles with a huge entourage," at last week's taping, said a source. "He was supposed to present the Big Styling '03 award to Ashton Kutcher, but when he got backstage he asked what his award was. VH1 told him he was only presenting and that he wasn't getting an award."

I'd say the "Has-Been" award, but for P. Diddy it needs to be the "Never-Was" award...

How about "Most Self-Imposed Nicknames" award.
Or "Most likely to bribe a jury"

demands they make him a special award

They should make him a special award. He’s just the right size.

They can just spray paint him silver and let Eminem keep him on his mantle.

This clown Puffy comes across like a dork who somehow made it big. Ever seen him try to dance? I heard he got passed over for the QB role in "Any Given Sunday" because he was so uncoordinated he didn't look realistic running with a football.

LOL! I'll proudly put him on display. What's with these ridiculous made up awards anyway. I already hate the stupid phony-ness of regular awards shows like the grammies. This is even worse.

Oh Puffie, don't cry. There is always next weeks, newly made up, self-important awards show to look forward to.

In the mean time, roll up a fat one and grab yourself another big-butted girlie.

Dont worry, Puffy got his 'special award' when up and coming Rap Producer/classic street thug Suge Knight made him drink his own urine. (so the lore goes)

How about the 'Head Wider than a Doorway' award?

His miffed performance definitely qualifies him for that one!

Other genuine winners include Jessica Simpson, Lisa Marie Presley and Evan "Joe Millionaire" Marriott.

Sounds like a real high-quality awards show (not!!)

Just a side point...Evan Marriott was paid something like $14,000 to speak at the University of Missouri-Columbia ("Mizzou")...paid out of student fees, of course, which are going thru the roof. A review of the speech in the student newspaper said that he made a comment to the effect of, "Yeah, Mizzou's really cool, it's got, like, dorms and stuff." (I'll find you the exact quote later...gotta go in a few minutes here.)

There was a pretty big uproar from all quarters here...they realized what a waste of money this dork was!!!!

I dunno, but the guy's a freakin' billionaire - you might think that, plus his own record label, clothing line, and God knows what else might be enough to make him disinterested in some stupid piece of metal from VH1. Maybe he was coked up or something.

Snidely

I was waiting for someone to bring this lame-o awards show up. While flipping though the channels I came upon some sort of free speech award they were giving away.Bil Mahr presented the award to Natalie Maines and she came on stage to as many boos as cheers. She even noted the boos, and smugly noted that they can break the Saddams Chicks new CD that is coming out this week. The cameras panned the audience, and clearly showed a LOT of people booing her, along with some idiots throwing her kisses. Before leaving, she made some sort of stupid anti Dick Cheney remark too.

Mahr acted like he wanted to mate with her right there on stage, he was so happy.

Did anyone else see this but me?
