I think it is a felony to purchase prescription narcotics on the black market as Rush did

To a bed wetting liberal it is not if something is true it is the seriouness of the charge.

Rush's experience raises many questions: will he be tested periodically like professional athletes? How often? Will he tell us the results?

More importantly: who cares? Does it affect me even one little bit whether or not Rush Limbaugh has a secret drug addiction? I certainly don't wish him any harm but his life is his life. I disagreed with his opinion that all drug users, white or blue collar, should be locked up, and I disagree with this author that Rush should be as well.

Don't mess with Rush. I and other Philadelphia Eagles fans owe that man a great debt of gratitude. The NFC has just voted Donovan McNabb its outstanding offensive player for the month of November, and in fact McNabb has been playing lights out football ever since Rush did his little foot-in-mouth tap dance on him. Way to go, big guy. We may be back to you for some more commentary as we get closer to the playoffs. Donovan may need another shot in the arm (or whatever other anatomical point works best).

Say, we're prosecuting radio personalities, we're prosecuting businessmen and we're prosecuting ordinary citizens...when are we going to be prosecuting government officials? Corrupt judges. Senators who have violated their oath of office. Police who fabricate evidence. Political operatives who commit vote fraud. Local zoning board people who take bribes from developers. When will those people be prosecuted, fined and jailed?

Well Drug Warriors... what say you? Should Rush fry for his involvement with the illegal drug market?

When Rush called Clinton a "Sex Addict" yesterday and faulted him for it, I turned him off. I'll try again in a month to see if he's become more based. I'm not counting on it.......

Is Clear Channel & Rush Limbaugh a Money Laundry?
by CONSPIRACY PLANET

In his column, "Money Laundering and Other Cabalist Fun and Games," political analyst Al Martin, author of "The Conspirators: Secrets of an Iran Contra Insider," writes, "After a short stint in drug rehab, Rush Limbaugh is being investigated for money laundering and that brings into focus the operations of his shadowy employer Clear Channel Communications."

Martin, who calls himself a "Recovering Republican Scamscateer" writes that "Rush Limbaugh is being targeted for a money laundering offense called 'structuring,' which means making cash withdrawals just under $10,000."

A former associate of Oliver North and General Richard Secord during the Iran Contra era, Martin questions the official media story that Limbaugh was taking massive amounts of Oxycontin. He writes, "According to inside sources, when police raided Rush Limbaugh's house, they found between $100,000 and $200,000 cash. Law enforcement's attitude is that for a private citizen to keep that much money around obviously raises some sort of a red flag.

Rush cannot "defame" liberals and Democrats. They do that themselves. Rush is only talking about their nefarious deeds.

I can speak to this with some experience.
I experienced a little incident in Vietnam that put me in the hospital for 14 months and eleven surgeries. During this time they ( the medical staff) saw fit to give us guys in a lot of plaster SECONOL (sp) around 10pm each night. I had no idea what SECONOL was nor what it did. I only knew I was getting some sleep at night.
This continued all through the 14 months and upon discharge was given a prescription for additional SECONOL, upon leaving the dispensary I had a jar of red pills the size of a mayonnaise jar.
I continued to use this drug, except I wasn’t taking one each night, by now I was taking 4-5 a day, and not even thinking about nodding off.
This continued through about an additional 6 months till a new doctor refused to write a new script......I replaced the Reds with Vodka.....It was a very low time in my life.
I realized what was happening to me a attempted to straighten myself out, I had many ups and downs and it wasn’t till I met a wonderful gal who is my current wife did I have the caring and support to kick it altogether.
That was 35 years ago.
I had no intentions of getting hooked on boose and pills, it just happened.
I have walked in those moccasins, so I’m not going to rush to judgment on Rush .

So what's the connection between hating liberals 15 hours a week, and drugs? I'd need to be on drugs to not hate liberals 80 hours a week.

That said, Rush needs his cumupance as my grandmother would say.

Paging Tony Snow.........

What a nut. Rush didn't "forge" anything. In fact, he's probably less guilty than your typical marijuana buyer, as oxycontin is legal.

How many people buy marijuana in this country?? Law enforcement typically focuses on sellers, not buyers.

Hypocricy is not a crime, and "deserves" got nothing to do with it.

I can't stand Rush Limbaugh, who I consider little more than a clown. And I'm a conservative despite his ditto-brained discourse.

But that doesn't make me want to incarcerate his drug-addled ass.

Imagine that? A few hundred millionaire having a little spending cash???? It's not like he's Don Johnson found with 50 billion in unmarked bonds at the Swiss Border or anything? No wait a minute......Nothing wrong with that either!

I smell a poke from the Palm Beach libs at an asset forfeiture case on Limbaugh. It's been done on many others for much lesser offenses.

as oxycontin is legal.

You can't debunk a lie with a bigger lie.

Oxycontin use, possession, purchase or sale is illegal except when taken under the advice and supervision of a licensed medical doctor.

There are people going to jail for long terms for illegal trafficking of this specific drug.

If you are curious to learn facts, just enter "oxycontin arrest" into google and open your eyes.

I'm sure David was instrumental in Rush's choice of representation.

What happened to Johnson?
