about the Judiaicary and Intel memos,I just turned it on. This thing about Dean's records would be a perfect place to bring up the reasoning put forth by the Dims publicly about Estrada. :(

So I thought.

I also was told that he didn't want to discuss a topic. This was the one time I managed to call in, and it also was an Open Line Friday. This was several years ago.
I have also had this happen to me on C-SPAN, which pretends that they don't screen calls. They do.
By the way, I didn't get a chance to congratulate you on getting this published! An outstanding piece of work, and I am most impressed!

Thanks!

"If the Senate fires staffers for leaking memos revealing how Senate Democrats abused, or planned to abuse, their positions as senators, the staffers will likely have a cause of action against the government based on First Amendment rights. Such action will get to the substance of the memos. The Democrats will bear the burden of defending the substance of their memos an untenable position that includes defending the unprecedented filibusters of highly qualified minority nominees because powerful far-left interest groups merely want to deny Republicans the perceived political capital associated with appointing minorities to the federal bench."
What a fine piece of writing! Talk about the Dems getting hoisted by their own petard :)

Thanks for the ping! I would love to be a fly on the wall if Mr. Stein's article ever gets discussed in a law school class :)

Could somebody call in and tell Rush that this is an important issue that people care about and that the Dems CAN'T be allowed to skate on this one?Couldn't you get someone at the Wash Times to help you out?
Surely they'd be more readily able to contact Rush than most here at FR.

Is the Senate called an "August body" because they only work one month a year?

Democrats don't believe in the Constitution. First they attack "the right of the people to keep and bear arms," then "free exercise of religion," then "freedom of the press." Pretty soon, they'll oppose the right of the people to petition the government for redress of grievances, grand juries, freedom of speech, the right of the people to peacably assemble, etc.
As of right now, they're working against "freedom of the press." They do so based upon (1) wanting to break up news outlets on ideological grounds, (2) restricting information available to be published, and (3) making music-playing decisions on behalf of radio stations, (4) instituting a so-called "fairness doctrine," and various other frivilous and ridiculous tactics.

Rush's screener said, verbatim: "Even though it's open line Friday,
Rush doesn't want to talk about that issue." Then he hung up!

Well done sir.
I am new here.
I had no idea we had such contributors on this forum.
Is there an autograph line somewhere I can join?
Is there a calendar I can purchase?
Or a book? :o)
The collection of bright minds here is amazing. One never knows who will be at the next stoplight!
