Back in the day, (mid '80s) I would go to NYC with my Mom and Sister hoping someone would try that paint throwing thing on their furs. Good or bad it never happened.

I've heard that, after a bit of a decline, the fur industry is making a good recovery. Anyone have any real stats?

I'm not a huge fan of fur, but I wouldn't throw paint at someone wearing fur because not only is it stupid, it's destructive. If we're going to kill animals for food and leather, why not for fur? As long as the deaths are as painless as possible and the animals are treated humanely, what's wrong with it?

I don't know, but I'd love to boost the fur industry by finding a beautiful coat under the Christmas tree.

I don't think that's going to happen, maybe some day!

Why would anyone concede to these pukes? I'd wear a bearskin rug and go to one of their rallies.

I'm like you. I'd love for one of these whack-jobs to try this when I was around so I'd have a good excuse to commence to bashing his deluded head in.

Can't you see all those emancipated cows roaming around, wandering in and out of our yards, leaving their droppings on our sidewalks and playgrounds and tying up traffic on our streets?

I suppose at that point we change the name of the Mississippi to the Ganges II.

A good response if red paint is thrown on your fur coat:

Nice job, f***wad, think of all the minks that are going to die to replace this coat.

I was just thinking the same thing. I was thinking about carrying a paintball gun, those things hurt at close range.
