It won't be long before somebody has to shoot a few of those invading foreign troops in self-defense. I wonder, is it illegal for a private citizen to defend our nation from invasion by a foreign power or are we just supposed to watch it happen? If foreign troops show up in my yard acting belligerently, I'm gonna shoot those SOBs. Repeatedly.

I'm suprised Mexico fell for this again. Last time we suckered them into a border dispute it cost them everything from Texas to California. Oh, well, this will be one way to control our borders. Of course, when the border is with El Salvador, there is a lot less land for us to patrol.

On May 17th, a Mexican Army unit led an incursion near Ajo, Arizona that ended with a shot being fired at a Border Patrol Agent. The agent was not hurt, but had two of his vehicle’s windows shot out. On June 14th, the Mexican Army opened fire (with high-powered .308 rifles) on a vehicle with 20 people packed into it. Six of the passengers were injured, two critically.

Despite Rep. Tancredo’s efforts to draw attention to them, each incident received only spotty coverage.

The issue of incursions needs to be confronted by the U.S. government before a catastrophic incident involving the loss of life occurs.
