Eat your hearts out, you damned, degenerate Democrats!

Hitlery didnt get this reception:
The mess hall actually erupted with hollering. Troops bounded to their feet with shocked smiles and just began cheering with all their hearts. The building actually shook. It was just unreal. I was absolutely stunned. Not only for the obvious, but also because I was only two tables away from the podium. There he stood, less than thirty feet away from me! The cheering went on and on and on. Soldiers were hollering, cheering, and a lot of them were crying. There was not a dry eye at my table. When he stepped up to the cheering, I could clearly see tears running down his cheeks.

This is a great post. There wasn't a dry eye in my house either. The ole Chief, my husband didn't let any tears roll down his cheeks but he sure had 2 eyes full of them.

And now I'm sitting here in my office at work with tears running down my cheeks. This President is just awesome and inspiring. His Thanksgiving journey to Baghdad was a defining moment for the troops and for all of us spiritually fighting this war as well. I loved reading the email from this captain. Thanks for posting it.
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
Wonderful post. I still get all tingly just reading about it. God bless our President.

WOW WOW WOW.. that's all I can say... WOW.. If the media showed the real Bush, we wouldnt even be talking about the reelection. It would be a shoe-in...
Dont wait for the media to mention any of these wonderful stories..

I, too, am shedding a few tears. What a great feeling to know that we have a President who can evoke those emotions by his heroic and unselfish acts. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Wow! As macho of a guy as I am, this thing brought tears to my eyes!
I am NOT a "Dubya lover", but for this act, I do love the guy. What he did for those guys there is immeasurable. I dont care what ANYONE else says, this was a great thing to do for the TROOPS, and thats all that matters to me.
