It's plainly indefensible. What we have here is a religious belief that mothers are better parents than fathers. It's secular religion, but it does qualify as an establishment of religion, in my book. Equal protection of the law apparently only applies to women - eerily reminiscent of "some are more equal than others".

Yeah, within the next 10 years they are going to find our just how "equal" they really are when the government run, family destroying monster turns on them. Getting fathers out of the way was the hard part. With the family divided, it will be that much easier for the industry to step in and assume the mother's role as well. Like I've said before, keep an eye on the growth of the foster care programs. If the divorce industry was able to use the kids to dictate terms to one parent, the only thing stopping it from controlling both is just a matter of time. The business of government is to grow, especially when it gets the private sector involved.
