I was in the Washington, DC area in October, so we decided to visit the Smithsonian Museums (adults and children). I was astounded at the number of persons that I heard that were speaking Spanish.

I went to a local grocery store, and the same thing happened again.

I mentioned it to my daughter, and she said that it was quite common.

I was wondering who really was running the country when I left.

Considering the failure of NAFTA you'd think the US would go a little slower with this idea. It has done nothing to slow illegal immigration or create wealth in Mexico and neither will any Free Trade of the Americas.

For a country to become prosperous, they must first learn how to do what the US did, make it on their own.

Too many misrepresentations in this "article" to list, but here is a good start. Look for the hyperlinks titled, "Myth(s)."
