The only amnesty should be 30 days to get out of the country or there will be a bounty on them!

Hmmm. I could could make some money on that!

There will be a new referendum petition on any illegal drivers licence bill bo matter what restrictions they might try to justify it with.

And you can rest assured that I will go to work getting thousands of signatures on that issue!

Arnold is not in any hurry to revisit the issue.

Less than 2 months after you posted this the issue resurfaces. I would hate to see what would happen if Arnold was in a hurry to revisit the issue.

This "news" was only in that one newspaper -- not a word about it anywhere else.

This leads me to conclude that there is not much to this story, just some anti-Arnold elements are trying to stir up trouble.

NOTHING is happening.

Just found this in my FRmail inbox. It's from xcountrykid who just signed up today. This was in response to my post #32

>> round them up? Like cattle? real nice man i have to agree with you on that one. NOT. GOD the ignorance of it all. When was the last time you picked tomatoes for 8 hours straight on a 90 degree day? The last time you had to clean a bathroom or fold sheets for someone else. OR when was the last time that you served a burger and fries? Yeah i don't think you've done any of that. Now sure lets kick them all out. Get our kids out of school to put them in the fields. Or better yet lets get out of our offices with AC and work in the fields. Sure for that hard labor we must require benefits and all, and how about 15 dollars an hour. Sure if we all did that you know how much our grociery bills would be. REALLY high. YOU talk about backbone. Well buddy those illegals that risk their very lives to get to work just so we could pay less for food or services ARE the backbone of this country you morond. AMERICA was founded on illegals. As far as i'm concerned WE should be rounded up by the Native Americans, but wait we already did that to them. I'm really impressed at how you just look at things from one perspective man. I wonder how you would look driving a rusted 1978 toyota pickup to work? GOOD luck with the roundup. And next time you think tomatoes or any other vegetables are too expensive don't bitch, cause you aint picking em.

xcountgrykid, here's my PUBLIC response:

I've got nothing against immigrant workers as long as they are here LEGALLY. One of the biggest terrorist threats to this country illegal immigration. Most of the 9/11 hijackers where not suppose to be here. Illegal immigrants are law-breakers, are not US citizens so they have NO constitutional rights, and should be rounded up and sent back.

Further more, the boarders should be militarized and the military should be authorized to use of deadly force to protect them.

My first job was working a Hydroseeding outfit. I worked 14-16 hours a day in 100 degree heat for $2.50/hour so don't you dare come across with holier-than-thou attitude. I know what hard work is. I've worked at Hardee's flipping burgers and I've done the cleaning the toilets gig too. I was smart enough to get a good education to better myself. You should try it.

ANYTHING you have to say to me can be said in public. I will post any private replies from you in the public forum. Especially this type of reply.
