Marilyn Monroe was unknown until 1947, Ann Margret was born in 1941, and only came to the States in '46, Connie Stevens was born in 1938 and wasn't a child star and Raquel Welch was born in 1940. Claiming these were WWII USO performers is pure balderdash.
Why does this guy lie for no gain?? Laziness??

I believe it was an unfortunate implication. The others did perform for the USO.The confusion ,if one has it,is that they are mentioned right after WW2 reference.

North doesn't claim that the people you mentioned entertained troops during WW11. Thay all did join Bob Hope in entertaining troops at various times.
I have seen films of this myself.

I THINK YOU READ IT WRONG....
Marilyn went to Korea, Raquel, Ann and Connie... all went to 'Nam with Hope.
The writer didn't say these ladies went on the Hope tours in WWII.

And of course celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Ann-Margret, Connie Stevens, and Raquel Welch didn't spend their free time criticizing the president or the troops. Instead, they joined Bob Hope and the USO in freely giving their time to entertain soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines overseas.
I think he was referring to their touring during the Vietnam Era.......

You misread it. He did not put them in the WW@ category, he just said they were USA performers, which they were.
