[history]
Dr. Jay Wolfson, the guardian ad litem (legal advocate) for Schiavo, submitted his report to Florida Gov. Jeb Bush Monday. His findings were made public Tuesday.
Wolfson also recommended that more testing be done in the case to satisfy the contentious nature of the litigation.

On the eve of Terry Schiavo's 40th birthday, the independent guardian appointed for the Florida woman at the center of a right-to-die controversy said in his court-ordered report that she is in a persistent vegetative state with no likelihood of improvement.

the independent guardian ... said in his court-ordered report that she is in a persistent vegetative state with no likelihood of improvement. What ? How can this be? Many here on FR have said the opposite? Please, let Terri go. Let her go to a better place...

I thought that Wolfson -- in his report -- also recommended that Terry be given a guardian other than that schiavo fellow who is not lookin gout for her at all since he is no longer her husband really. Strange that cnn did not touch upon this.
To: TheAngryClam
"Doctor" Wolfson is not a medical doctor and is not qualified to diagnose "PVS." Other doctors have disagreed on the point.
Wolfson made a much more important recommendation that Michael Schiavo be replaced as Terri's legal guardian. Evidently the reporter forgot to mention that part.

Amen to that. Anything is better than that cell her husband has locked her in for ten years. How about Newark, New Jersey?

I posted this on another thread, but will add it in here, too:
The report made public was edited to remove sensitive material, according to the CNN article yesterday morning.
If Wolfson's comments on MS's fitness as guardian were removed, that might explain why the LifeNews.com article at the top of this thread ("New Guardian Urged for Terri Schiavo, More Evaluation of Her Condition Needed") went down only to be supplanted later with the headline "Independant Guardian Tells Bush Terri's Condition Hopeless, Should Get Swallowing Test" . . . did LifeNews.com let the cat out of the bag? Did Felos flip over the public revelation that Wolfson was advising a new guardian be appointed? Later reports do not include that information!
Look at the google link to new-guardian Terri-Schiavo

I think Felos sent a nasty email out to all media advising them not to publish that information. LifeNews.com is the only outlet that mentioned that. Must have been in the pre-redacted version of Wolfson's report.

Double Standard - Hillary is not improving, either, but they won't put her to death.
To: msmagoo
Felos spends a lot of time (and Terri's money, if he's left her any) covering up evidence of crimes by Michael.
If Michael ever loses his guardianship and all these cover-ups come unraveled, he'll need a defense attorney instead of Felos.

Legal rumination. Michael Schiavo owns Terri as surely as any Southern white owned Negro slaves in the antebellum South. And he treats her more meanly than the Simon Legrees treated their slaves.
I thought we abolished slavery?

Did you notice in this report, the idiot reporter thinks Wolfson is a doctor.

She's not in a vegetative state; more like animal cunning.
