I found this in another article at Google News....
Among the people arrested or captured, is a big fish ... a major figure whose identity is being verified," said Rubai, when asked about reports that Izzat Ibrahim al-Duri, Saddam's number two, had been captured or killed by US forces.
"The initial results are encouraging and very positive," he said.

Someone on Fox speculated that we may have him but are putting out misinformation deliberately.

I suggest you give the link to your Post #5. If these reports are legit (and they appear to be on face value) this is getting interesting again.

Awww the bodyguard's families were seen crying. *sniff sniff* Poor guys.
So, we arrested DOZENS of people, that's great news, I hope we're making big dents this week.

Or, maybe, we don't have him but we want to put out misinformation about our not having him is misinformation...I'm so confused!

Here's hoping he's dead. Sure sounds like we hurt them bad. If the families are crying, they didn't get away scott free, that's for sure.

Why aren't we seeing more in the media about how attacks are down 50% since this latest crackdown started.
/sarcasm.

What is the deal? my notes say that the King of Clubs was captured 5/22/03
To: Dog
"But US army spokesman Sergeant Robert Cargie said We get our information from the 173rd (Airborne Brigade) and the 173rd is saying they dont have him. Not exactly a straight answer.
The 173rd doesn't have him........therefore he was not captured. There are some missing links in this reasoning.
To: Dog
Interesting. Families crying indicates something happened. Your quote from that article indicates positive news.
Thanks for pinging me!
