Is the lesser of two evils not evil? Is any politician perfect? Are you searching for your "perfect political world". Ain't gonna happen. It just amazes me when you guys get all in a tizzy about Bush and then basically say you don't care if a demo gets in, when you don't agree with the demo 95% of the time.
Well anyway as I said to Hank, send me a post card when you reach your destination called "perfect political world". Have a feeling I will be waiting by the mailbox a long time.

Can one not expect a Republican to act like a Republica.
I do not recall saying that I do not care if a Dem gets elected. Nobody despises that particular bunch of misguided (to be kind) and deceitful miscreants more than I. But at least when the Democrats put it to us, we can point the finger directly at them, which is exactly what i expected to happen after I voted for W. and he won.
To say that I was disappointed is a major understatement. When Republicans do the work of the Dems, expanding government more and more, where can we lay the blame.
One actually only has to compomise a very few times on the issues that really matter, to find that, eureka!, one has been compromised.

Bush is growing the size of government like crazy, he rolled over on education vouchers and privitization, he agreed to the assault on the First Amendment, hasn't said he'll veto a new AWB, put in place steel tariffs, Welfare Farmer subsidies and his "free pill" vote-buying scam.
I don't want any of that crap. Why the hell would I vote for more of it? Don't you have any principles at all, other than "Republicans must rule me and steal/spend my money"?
