I hate Big Stupid Republican Government and their overdrive spending and vote-buying scams. Who needs this crap? I guess even bigger govt. Hillary/Ted Kennedy crap is more to your liking.
Look it comes down to two chocies. I voted for GHWB in 92 and never have voted for a third party in a Presidential election. I have a clear conscious and can roghtly criticize the horrible 8 years of Clinton.
Oh BTW, I guess you would like Kyoto, the international court also. The medicare bill has the seeds of privatization and Newt has endorsed it.
When you reach your destination called "perfect political world" send me a post card would ya.

See my post at #46.
Bush has done a lot of things right. But he also royally screwed up on so many others. The gun issue is, to me, the bright line test of any pol. If he doesn't respect my rights, he doesn't get my vote.
If we ever expect the GOP to again respect those rights, we must treat them like the self gratifying children that they are. Punish them. Spank them. Vote them out of office. If we allow them to behave as dems and treat us the dems would, we will never get their attention or respect.
They want power. They'll do whatever they think will get them elected and reelected even if that means selling us out. If they do, I say screw 'em. Fire their sorry asses.
As bad as x41 was, WE SURVIVED. We got tough. We got strong. We got organized. We can survive an enemy in the camp. We cannot survive a 'friend' who behaves like the enemy.
If Bush signs the AWB, he will lose and I'll do more than just withhold my vote. If one of the dwarves want to start CWII by taking our guns, OUR FREEDOM, - MOLON LABE! The ones that sign the orders will be at just as much risk as those they send to collect them.
Read Enemies, Foreign and Domestic. Let your pubbie politicians friends know what awaits them if they let Bush sign an extension of the law.
