" while she and her entourage arrived late, then cut in line and were served first." Gid! This evil creature doesn't even make a pretense of class or propriety!

"The brass at Bagram apparently had a hard time rounding up New Yorkers who wanted to have dinner with Mrs. Clinton." I can't imagine why. < /sarcasm >"People Magazine was on hand to cover the event and wanted to interview the troops for reaction to Mrs. Clinton's visit.
"But they were getting declined left and right," our source said. "People were actually telling the reporters 'You don't want to print what I think about her and her visit.'"
ROTFLMBO! Oh I do wish they'd given their honest reactions. Unfortunately, they would never see the light of day. The media, after all, has to protect its precious poster b*tch darling.

"I take it Hillary won't be getting the military vote in her presidential run" Oh, that's easy enough to deal with.n She'll just have her operatives dispose of the military ballots as was done in 2000 and 2002 in several places.

Bush serves the turkey. Hillary hogs the turkey. How Hillaryesque. I used to have a pig. The pig had better manners.

This won't make the New York Times. No puff piece from this truth. It's too gritty, too real for the likes of the New York Times.

I appreciate your time, your words, and certainly your optimism. I truly wish I could see it that way. Unfortunately, I am a "numbers" guy.
For instance; FoxNews nightly news still is only watched by around 12% of the viewers that watch See-BS, NBC, and ABC newscasts. So right there, it's Fox News 1 - those three awful networks 25. 25 to 1. Not good!
Listen I gotta get out of here about now. Just let me ask you this. We here at FR (well, many here at FR) know about Hillary's evil, dispiriting words to the troops in Iraq over Thanksgiving, Right? Well, the mainstream media ignored those words, covered up for her. Subsequently (and I am a numbers person) at this time, I'd say no more than about 5 to10% of Americans know of her words to the troops. And that estimate is high.
You see, the vast majority of voting Americans do not know the details of the evils of the liberal Democrat movement. Why? The mainstream media will not tell them, and in fact they color the liberals' activities to make them look like the good guys. There are still a great, great majority of Americans who are not "enlightened". Watch Leno's "JAYWALKING" if you want a REAL hint at the stupidity out there.
I'd like to talk with you more about this later.
Again, I appreciate your optimistic outlook, and I don't relish changing it. I'm 57 years old and I've spent close to 40 years studying the pervasive influence on Americans' opinion by ALL media. 40 years. The influence is subtle and everywhere, and every day it is terribly destructive to the country and the people. I think you are seeing life through rose-colored glasses, but in a way, I'm envious. Unfortunately numbers speak for themselves.
Ask yourself what percentage of voters know anything about the deviousness of Jay Rockefeller and his staff concerning the Intelligence Committee Memo, and the plans therein! Hardly anyone in America knows about that, and, some that do, think the Republicans were wrong there because of the distortion of the story by the mainstream media who even bothered to cover it.
You have to see that the informed are a tiny fraction of the voting public still, and it's just the way the media owners want it - keep the public uninformed, and prop up the liberal, socialist Democrats. (Why do you think that Viacom protect and promote Hillary by removing the loud chorus of boos from the 9/11 New York Concert video? Huh? Answer?
It's all news distortion and outright news ignoring, and protection of liberals for the benefit of the socialist powerful.
It's not pretty, but, I must admit happily, that it's getting better, there is a little light. But it must get better much, much faster to attempt to save this country. I feel the evil ones are way too ingrained for way too many decades to make enough change quickly enough.
Power is power, that is one thing you have to face..........and then fight........or die!
See you later, hopefully. It's better to know the truth than to avoid it. Then try to do something about it. BTW, I do know how to do something about it. More later, please. Gotta go.

"Clinton and her entourage bumped everyone in line, forcing them to wait almost an extra hour." She holds up traffic in New York City for hours. Her hubby holds up airline traffic in LA for hours. These people are pathetic.

Thanks, Daughter. I guess I don't have to tell you that I'm watching that woman very closely. She's capable of just about anything!!! ;-)

You're welcome. My father in-law is in the picture with Eisenhower as he addressed the paratroopers on the eve of the D-Day invasion and my "cousin" is seated next to the President in Baghdad for Thanksgiving after leading the charge from Kuwait to Baghdad to oust Saddam.
I can touch two incredible moments in History by stretching my right and left arms out across my family.

Thanksgiving Dinner started at 3 p.m. that day, so the line was forming around 2:30 p.m. She didn't show up until around 3:30 p.m. "Once she got there," our source maintains, "Clinton and her entourage bumped everyone in line, forcing them to wait almost an extra hour."
Of course, these G.I.'s ought to feel grateful that Her Majesty graced them with her presence.

Thank you so much for the ping. I have so little time to see FR these days and I may have missed this. It did my heart good to see it.
My favorite..........
"But they were getting declined left and right," our source said. "People were actually telling the reporters 'You don't want to print what I think about her and her visit.'
That deserves a big thumbs up. : *)
