No Christian will convert to Islam. Historically, lots of people have. Whether you believe they were "real" Christians or not is beside the point. Nobody gets to make that determination except the individual.

The very act of being Islamic is evidence that they didn't believe in the divinity and resurrection of Christ.
They weren't, AND they aren't. "They went out from us because they were not of us."

Actually, nobody gets to make that final determination except the Lord (1 Corinthians 4:3) and it is He who said "the one who endures to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:13).
