Raze the town from the air and then it will no longer be a hotbed of anti American sentiment.

I know. Even Fox and Friends in the morning has a guy in Iraq who seems to report all the bad things going on in Iraq. I don't know his name - he's British and all he does is ring the death knell every morning. Seems like Fox is joining in with the other stations too.

IIRC, that British guy on Fox is actually from Sky News (Fox's more-"established" British cousin, and as "established", more lieberal).

He's the one who quoted the military saying:"The military said the deaths were insignificant",infuriating and meant to outrage?Of course the term is "militarily insignificant",which has an entirely different meaning.

Some of what this Soldier and his comrades accomplished over the last 24 hours:
December 1, 2003
Release Number: 03-12-02
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TF "ALL AMERICAN" IMPROVES SECURITY IN AL ANBAR
AR RAMADI, Iraq - Task Force All American continued to conduct operations in order to bring peace to Iraq and assist the reconstruction efforts. These missions will continue to move Iraq toward becoming a free and independent nation.
During the past 24 hours, the 82nd Airborne Division and subordinate units have conducted 16 raids and cleared three weapons caches. Soldiers also conducted 176 patrols, including six joint patrols with the Iraqi Border Guard and Iraqi Police. During these operations 25 enemy personnel were captured.
In 3rd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Divisions area of responsibility, elements discovered a cache near Iskandariyah. The cache contained 1606 mortar rounds of various sizes as well as three mortar base plates and one mortar tube. Also found were bomb making materials, along with a number of RPG rounds and other forms of ammunition.
3rd ACR continued Operation Rifles Blitz. Elements conducted 14 raids in Ubaydi capturing 25 personnel. Each mission incorporated both the Iraqi Police and recent ICDC graduates during execution.
At Trebil on the Jordanian border, 113 personnel were refused entry because they had no passports or documentation.
Civil affairs teams with 3rd Brigade met with Al Karmah city officials today to discuss renovation of their courthouse. They prepared a statement of work for the project and have allocated $60,000 to complete the repairs. The renovation will allow the city to better accommodate the increasing number of court cases resulting from better police techniques. Civil affairs personnel also held a meeting with the Habbaniyah and Khalidiyah community leaders to assess the security posture in the area. Our forces emphasized that cooperation was key to moving forward and that our support would remain limited until the security situation improved. The Civil Affairs team reminded all present that the Iraqis must take responsibility for improving the security situation. Teams in Hit met with local officials to discuss the opening of a police sub-station in a rural area outside town named Dulab. The plan calls for approximately 50 officers and, at the request of the Hit police chief, the renovation of a former Baath party building for use as a police station there. They are also being provided with winter uniforms at a cost of $40,000.
Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division, 1st Infantry Division, and 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment remain committed to helping rebuild Iraq and to ending violence throughout the Al Anbar province.

What I don't understand is why we take these goons alive after they kill one of our soldiers. Why aren't they shot in the field?
