I've been amazed that the Linda Daschle connection hasn't been mentioned anywhere, not even in the fair and balanced or internet outlets. It sure sounds like there is a big one about to break loose here.

I think the GOP was holding off on this, because they thought Tommy was gonna retire...that's why the polls released last week showing Thune about even..a gentle "push" to daschle to get out..FWIW, there may be a "gentlemen's agreement" in SD...allow the Janklow to cop a plea, without a big hue and cry..and allow Tommmy and Linda to escape any ethics inquiries...
