Well, that would be a shame. The sheer magnitude of the scalping we were going to take on this was incredible.

As for Condit, I think his days were numbered for a variety of reasons anyway. This gave the board is any easy out.

Agreed..but it will be hard to keep a lid on Linda's complicity...but once Tommy's out of power...no one wants to waste the effort..Remember Torricelli, Livingston, and countless others...once the guy's quit..you get a pass...except for Newt....if Janklow wasn't a high profile congressman...given his age/health..he might get a suspended sentence..and a large civil suit ettlement for the victim's family....what purpose is accomplished by imprisoning him?...but in the public perception..he'd have to be hung in the lobby of the state capital.....
