Excellent column. Am forwarding it to whatever media I can get it to.
I loved Harry Stein's book, and have recommended it to several "newly born" conservatives.

I thought the backstory on x42's "haircut" was that Hellary had heaved an ashtray at him, and they had to stitch him up before he could be unleashed on the public again. Anyone else hear this?

For an answer to your question, check out tonight's star-studded "Hate Bush" (actual name!!) party in TinselTowne.
A list should (will) be made of the Limburger Luminaries in attendance.
Said list would (will) be quite useful before and after these blowfly maggots succeed in their relentless campaign to completely trash the moral fiber of our Nation.....

Sometimes it's hard to know if Pinch'n'Pals really hate America that much, or if they're just incredibly stupid.
I will never again be able to see anything coming from Philip Taubman without thinking "I wonder what Mr. Numbnuts has to say."
To: henderson field
"Now [the NYT is] completely worthless. To say that they've slipped is a tremendous understatement. Even the writing is second rate."
I said the same thing myself the other day. Someone posted a Thomas Freidman column wherein he bemoaned that the Bush administration is "nonhealing". What it is supposed to be healing he didn't say. And why he didn't say "unhealing" I don't know.
Another publication that has always been politically horrid but used to be well written is TIME magazine. Now it is practically unreadable.
I have a liberal friend who used to work in mag. publishing. She agrees with these assessments and says the problem is all the people working for these outfits are callow 25 year olds, who, of course, think they know it all.
But where are the editors? Probably too busy doing diversity head counts.

News people love catastrophes. It gives them something to do, makes them look important, and provides a shot at a Pulitzer. A lot of these people put their career above everything else, why should we After all, these are mostly unbalanced people.

PRAVDA-on-the-Hudson is stuck in a time warp.
They fantasize they are still the "newspaper of record" rather than the "newspaper of obvious fabrications".

My question to Taubman is, Did you mean that as a compliment or an insult? Because you cant have it both ways. You cant constantly complain that the president is an imbecile, and then get angry, when President Gump fakes you out of your shoes. (At Free Republic, FReeper RansomOttawa overdosed on irony, challenging Taubman, What are you going to do about it? Rescind his [Bushs] Pulitzer Prize?)
Thanks for the post and ping !!
