If hospitals are not allowed to ask citizenship status of their patients, then how do they apply for Emergency Medicaid for these patients from the government. Also, why are illegal aliens in the Medicare Bill if they don't know the citizenship status of the patients?
Hospital corporations are lavishing praise on the new Medicare Bill. Big bucks for them.

No other country on earth would allow this travesty to happen. This is a federal problem, and it's about time that the federal government started doing something about it. I love GWB, but I blame him and all the other windbags back there in DC for not confronting this problem. They're too worried about the Mexican vote to tackle the problem.

A candidate with the right strength and funding could take the presidency away from both parties if he ran on this platform. I agree 100%. The majority of Americans are fed up with illegal immigration, and would vote for a candidate who promised a solution. Bush doesn't want it solved.

Tancredo for President.
Dana Rohrabacher for Vice President.

Shame on Rohrabacher for misleading his constituants. Rohrabacher knew when he voted to susbsidize illegal aliens that his fellow liberals would never support his proposed legislation. The illegal aliens are already subsidized: by the state and local hospitals, who are required by Federal law to treat illegals. All the bill did was shift the burden to Feds, where it belongs, since it is the Feds who control immigration policy and force the hospitals to treat patients.
Rohrabacher is second only to Tancredo in fighting for immigration reform. He's been fighting for it his whole career. If anyone in the House has Cajones, it's Rohrabacher.

They can have health care in Mexico ---- it's much cheaper to pay a nurse or doctor over there --- if we can outsource factory jobs, we can outsource health care jobs to Mexico by sending their injured and ill illegals and others back home. They want all these maquila jobs --- why don't they want health care jobs in Mexico?
