Yeah, it was cool. When we could get them and we couldn't get our hands on my father's fishing gear (an old crank telephone) we went fishing with 'em..if we could find an old boat.

(Note to PETA types. The number of times I did either is highly exaggerated by time deranged memories of my youth, most times we used a pole, worms and sharp, sharp hooks that we stuck in their sensitive mouth, taking glee in their cries of pain before we cut their heads off, gutted and scaled them, battered them in corn meal, fried them in bacon fat and ate them as fast as we could catch them).

Damn, I was a lucky kid.

Heh. Anyone here ever been to a Hong Kong "Toy Store?"

They had a variety of plastic pellet shooting guns that are indistinguishible from the real thing. They had anything from a .38 revolver all the way up to a MINIGUN!

I was able to get the Beretta 92F and sneak it back to the states. Held side-by-side with my REAL Beretta, there's no difference -except for the weight.
