Just because they are in uniform doesn't guarantee them POW status. If they were all in McDonald's foodserver uniform, they would be on their way to Gitmo.
The uniform must, I believe, be a publicized uniform of the military of a recognized nation.
Just some old uniform (a la the minions of Ernst Blofeld) will not do it.

You are correct...now let's wait and see what the US brass has to say...they may or may not recognize these pj's as uniforms.
