Across wire:

4th Infantry Division repelled multiple ambush attacks, at least 18 Iraqi attackers, 5 US soldiers were wounded. No reported deaths.

lots of questions when this one is finally cleared up:

- why, all of a sudden, are these thugs wearing uniforms of any kind?
- how are they communicating to coordinate this attack. multiple targets, multiple convoys, positions on the ground and rooftops (we destroyed 3 buildings according to Centani).

Heavy coordinated multiple attempted assaults on American troops ~ using grenades, small arms fire, etc. ~ thwarted by American troops with few US casualties and multiple enemy dead and captured.

 

Three buildings where attackers were shooting at our troops from rooftops were destroyed by Amercia troops.
