"With too many Demon-rat senators like these, America as we know it will eventually be destroyed."
==
That's why we need to diminish the power of Democrats by electing more Republicans -- if only in self defense.

This was a big group of insurgents. I'm thinking we may have lured them into a trap by making this convoy look vulnerable when in fact it was heavily defended. I don't want to talk about how that could be done, but it looks like we're adapting to their tactics and starting to thin out their ranks.

Judging by the number of "resistance fighters" killed and wounded, it wounds like they were trying to take out an entire American unit just in time for Monday morning. A headline saying that 30 Americans were killed (I don't know how many were in the convoy) would have intensified calls for the U.S. to withdraw. Thank God our guys got the heads-up.

What a day for our side. Our boys even blocked a last-minute field goal with a canon shot from a Bradley!

let's just say, we're not asleep at the wheel! : )

Our troops have been directed to step up battle tactics to a much higher level as of late.
There were a few areas where our people let their guard down to show trust for the Iraqis. But since that has proven to be dangerous, it has been abandoned.
We can all be rest assured that the number of our troop casualties will drop drasticly in the future.
Being a combat veteran myself, I assure you, our troops are well trained in survival and will easily adapt to any sleazy or underhanded coward tactics these ignorant Gihadists throw at them!

The Stykers are coming....wait til the Fedayeen attack them...!

The terrorists must have been startled when they started taking multiple 128mm cannon fire. Say hello to Allah chumps!

Only five of our great guys (and gals) wounded, None seriously. Hooah!
To: luvbach1
I believe they would have used a "Ripper" (30 caliber chain-gun that spews over 10,000 rounds per minute) or a 20 mm that puts up over 7,000. 128's are not normally used as AP weaponry.

"Excellent news! We need to keep up these actions."
Right you are, if they are foolish enough to launch such attacks in real time against our heavy armor.

"...hard to know why we have body counts for this event...."
Perhaps it was because someone thought we needed a body count. And if it boosts our morale it may boost the troops' morale, which is much more important.

Yes indeed, we must not forget that these days good news for America is always bad news for the Demonrats! It's how the have positioned themselves.

Yes DU is amazing! An entire site devoted to treason (let's be generous and call it sedition)! And they so blinded they call it patriotism! But libs (please read leftists) have always defined patriotism to fit their repugnant behavior.

I watched Walter Rodgers on CNN a little bit ago. He was standing 18 inches from John Hinckley when he shot Reagan. He said Jim Brady landed on his feet after he was shot. He was quite adamant about wanting Hinckley to never get out, even said he was glad he was in Iraq and not in the states if Hinckley got out. His vehemence about it was stunning.

"On TV they keep talking about the fact that they are "wearing uniforms" -- next thing the liberals will be whining that we should treat them as POW-s."
These are not honorable soldiers defending their nation; they are sadistic (and perhaps brainwashed) thugs who would restore the murderous regime just displaced. They should be treated as the terrorists they are! The war on terror will not be won by namby pamby PC methods. This is a different sort of war which must be waged appropriately if we are to prevail. By the way, three Al Queda terrorists reported captured in Iraq.
