Merle Haggard, who recorded his own anti-war song, "That's the News," this year, says that the attacks on the Chicks "reminded me of things I'd read about Berlin in 1938. It pissed me off."

Hey Merle! What is it you don't like? That she practiced freedom of speech and slurred our President on foreign soil while our fighting men and women were at war so we practiced our own constitutional right to free speech and right to NOT buy concert tickets or CDs? What is it that you don't like?

Sorry, I'm a little steamed!

"The America we believe in can't survive another four years of George Bush," says Moby

How anyone can even say this with a straight face is beyond me. If we survived eight years of Bubba... I wonder what America he believes in looks like? Maybe Berlin 1938? It is we the conservatives that they (the liberals) would deport to concentration camps. Does anyone doubt it?

My Dad remembers those days. Let's see. Where are the "LIBERAL-FREE" Parks? Beaches? Shops? Where are the schools where liberals' kids are not allowed? Where are the liberal families who lost their fathers when armed National Guardsmen came in the dead of the night and took them away? I haven't seen any around here.
