Hmmm ... I'm a "rocker" and I can't spot any "rockers" on that list.
To: HitmanNY
Wrong.
To: prairiebreeze; Mr. Mojo
Now you got me daydreaming of a pro Bush bluegrass tour.

OMG, that is fantastic gossip and news! I knew there was something with that guy!!! Thank you thank you for digging that up!!!!!
Don Henley - pedophile. He can add it to his resume and hopefully FReepers will remember it.

The dead always vote for Democrats; didn't you know?Of course...I think it has something to do with the worms eating their brains or something.

Actually I take that back. Joey is dead. Johnny Ramone is the conservative one.

Allow me.
"Freepers have an obligation to get involved," says Af_Vet_1981, "not necessarily because they have a forum but because they are patriots."
These artists chose whether to be remembered as musicians or terrorist sympathizers. Never forget.

Well...we might want her on our side. Pretty on the Inside is fantastic, and I love Celebrity Skin.
She's gross and a terrible mother, but at least Frances hasn't called anyone an *sshole like Lourdes Ciccone. And she at least married the father of her child and seriously loved him, unlike a certain bottle blonde faux British accented, untalented ho we know who also puts down Italians though she is "half Italian".

Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) was mentioned in the article. He came out with a fairly sincere apology for his flag remark.

I forgot to include Marilyn Manson on the Bush Republicans list.
Yes he voted for President Bush. He even said so. And yes, the guy is super intelligent.
To: zook
But don't you think his audience of classic rock listeners are right leaning Bush people? Who else but people who grew up in the 70's generation would listen to him? And those people I believe are right leaning, not left leaning. I'm sure the apology was sincere, he's thinking about his sales. Unlike the Dixie Hicks. As far as the DC's are concerned though, I believe their big career is over, they alienated their core audience and I think now will be relegated to playing much smaller venues. Still having fans, but never the glory that once was. Total career killing remarks they made.
To: Buck W.
May a thousand flowers bloom, and may any Rocker who has an opinion, speak it if he or she will. But, pardon me if I and millions of other former fans fail to waste not another cent on enriching these ignorant, spoiled elitist leftists. NO MORE CD SALES, SPRINGSTEEN. Live off your wisdom, and move to Europe.

Boy....saying Courtney Love and "bush" in the same sentence....the metaphors and allegories are overwhelming.
Besides driving Kurt to blow his brains out, she could work on her drug peccadillos and hygiene.

Boy, does this ever make my possible Christmas list choices shorter.....Thanks, all.
To: hillary's_fat_a**
...Gee, wonder how much she weighs these days .... if she's still so depressed about Gore losing, she must easily top 400 pounds at this point!...
Hey, don't pick on Gore, he promised to fix all the voting irregularities in the country. And, to work tirelessly at it. Since, he's got trots about Iraq, he must be done fixing all the voting problems.

In looking at the list of musicians, as a total, there aren't actually that many that are protesting the Bush Administration and the war in Iraq. The majority are doing what they do best, playing music and thanking their fans for supporting them. And we,as consumers, will thank the non grateful ones by avoiding their products like the plague.

It's bizarre that someone with tax problems (Willie Nelson) should support a Communist (Kucinich.) I mean, Willie, if you can't pay your "fair share" of 45% or so, how you gonna ante up what you "really" owe society? LOL!
