Describing two meetings with G.I.s over turkey dinners in Baghdad, Sen. Clinton told reporters later that soldiers wanted to know "how the people at home feel about what we are doing." I know that this is utter BS. What they really wanted to know was who was at the top of the points standings in NASCAR and who won last week's football games.

Despite her sour pronouncements, the former first lady insisted that the soldiers were just as glad to see her as they were President Bush, whose surprise visit less than 24-hours earlier was greeted with standing ovations. "It's a positive for the commander-in-chief to visit troops in the field," Clinton told reporters, adding, "the troops [also] seemed to appreciate seeing myself."
I hate to double post (and likely repeat what was said already), but this is also BS. Soldiers may not be geniuses, but they know when someone is playing them for a photo op.

Your #1124 is one of the funniest things I've ever read. I just read it out loud to my husband and laughed so hard I could hardly breathe.
Would you consider posting this to other Hillary articles?
If you are uninterested in that, would you mind if I posted it to other Hillary articles in the future, giving you attribution?
BTW, we have the same famous quote on our web pages about war being an ugly thing, but not the ugliest thing.

Can we say anything about administering punishment with formerly wet noodles that have now hardened into ... oh, I don't know?
;-)
You're all doing a GREAT job monitoring this. I don't envy you.

Thanks Red. Your letter is very similar to the one I just sent to Sen. Warner.

If I can recall exactly, I think it was in Ghana or somewhere in Africa, and for some reason there was some sort of riot against the US and him. He was reacting to the taunts of the crowd.
I know the original is on a cnn link, maybe I'll be able to find it among my pics.
Will check.

I have called hillary a lot of things, but I submit humbly, you have passed me by several miles. Great Job, Marine!

It is good you removed those posts for others lurking.
BTW, I apologize for posting inappropriate about the She Devil. Reading about her remarks sent me into orbit.

Flying Hillary in to Afghanistan and Baghdad to talk to the troops (at taxpayer expense) is tantamount to flying Tokyo Rose as our guest to dine with the troops in Honolulu as they were getting ready for embarcation to the South Pacific in WWII.
Clinton is a traitorous whore, and should get the same treatment as the Johnny Talibans in Gitmo.
