This part of your post reminds me of a news story I read about PETA (People Ethically Terrorizing Adolescents) in Scotland. I recall that the petas went to a grade school to pass out their drivel in the morning and had not left when the kiddies came out after lunch. A large group of the kids had saved their milk from lunch and proceeded to vigorously pelt the petas with the milk. There may not be much hope for California but I think Scotland will survive.
