Is that true? It can't be, give me a citation,please. Because if that IS true, I can solve many problems with one stone.

Deport all illegal aliens in US prisons (except maybe some of the really bad one, we might want to keep them in custody, hoping for their deaths). This will free up prison space, it will show the world we are serious about immigration reform, and it will therefore discourage future illegal immigration.

I have heard and read that "over 50%" in federal prisons numerous time over the years

I think adult illegal aliens working or collecting in the USA, esp. with counterfeit federal and state IDs should all get 6 months hard labor and a 5 year probation period then deported

Take prints and eye-scans; any that re-enter the USA get automatically back into a hard labor prison farm with max security

I do not care about Amnesty International, ACLU, NAACP, MECHcA, AZTLAN, UN, etc.

I see massive vigilante action by US citizens soon

I found some stats about fed prisons as of 1997.

Blacks made up 40.17%, "whites" 56.67% I put "whites" in quotes because fed stats always put hispanics in the "white" bucket. Then later down, we see that "hispanics" make up 27.46%, so the real breakdown is black 40%, hispanic 27%, non-hispanic-white 29%, so minorities make up 2/3 of the prison population. Of the hispanic segment, how many are illegal aliens is unknown. The total fed prison pop was 110K in 1997.

Possibly the ">50%" stat came from adding together the alien prison population to the number of aliens in federal custody awaiting deportation hearings

Number I heard was 20%-25% of those in Federal prisons are illegal aliens
