There was a great thread about three weeks ago in which someone had posted an article about the Global warming being caused by the sun. The well meaning poster really tried to encourage debate, but it turned out to be one of the funniest threads I have seen. It was something about solar flares I believe..

Re the sun: there was a thread about the Vile Chicks on which a poster referred to one of them planning a concert on the sun. Somebody said "Isn't the sun kind of hot?" And one of the Chicks said "We know that, silly! We're going at night!"
