Guess the "Chill wind" for old' Timmy isn't blowing anymore? What a sad and pathetitic way to live ones life. They're hatred of president Bush has overtaken them so much that they just play make-believe in spite of history.

***"Not everything is factual, and maybe that is our fault through satire***
There's that word again, SATIRE, that the leftists have become so fond of using to disguise their communist agenda.
It the play is satire, it should be advertised as satire, not opinion.

"It is not propaganda. It is a voice of dissent, which is different than propaganda," said audience member Kadina Dayal-Halday. Interesting logic.

"With all due respect sir, a lot of people in this country feel this administration went to this war with an agenda of their own and this play resonates with a lot of people who come to see it," countered V.J. Foster, an actor who plays the character of Col. Hardchannel in the play.In other words, if a bunch of looney leftists believe that something is true, then it is true.
Does that mean that, if a bunch of people want to say that The Holocaust was false, and someone puts on a little play about it being a falsehood, then that belief should be validated?
I love how they defend their lies by saying "I feel this....I feel that..." No evidence, no first-hand knowledge....just that they "feel" that something happened, as long as it agrees with their worldview.

People like Al Frankenweenie and Michael Moore try to pass their Bush-hatred off as "just joking."

This "actor" is a dummy.
He seems to think that satire is based on a retreat from truth.
Satire is an amplification and distortion of the truth for dramatic or comedic effect. In truth, satire, while it does rely on distortion cannot be effective without a solid foundation in truth.
"Satire" that is not based on truth is not satire, it is slander.
Tim Robbin's 'Embedded' is just that.

It would be more accurate to name the play "Embittered."

The only chill wind that is blowing is coming from Robbins A$$. What really makes you sick is that good men fought and died for this piece of human filth's right to ridicule everything they stood for.
But then, this country has always had parasites sucking the blood of better men.

It would be more accurate to name the play "Embittered." Oooooh, I LIKE that!

He also reported that a person in the audience called the marine a nazi and he replied very politely saying he was honored to defend their right to disagree. LaJeunesse
said some parts of the play were so bad he felt like he needed to keep apologizing to the marine during the play. Sad, very sad.

Hey Tim Robbins, I called Rosie O'Donnell and she said she'd have a theatre handy pretty soon tat you can use for your play. She just needs to lose a few million more dollars on her play then it's your turn with yours.

In other words, if a bunch of looney leftists believe that something is true, then it is true More than that, it is unquestionable and beyond debate. That is the arrogant connotation of the term "dissent." "Dissent" is not mere disagreement, but a higher level of speech or "voice" beyond reproach. Any reproach or contradiction is labeled "censorship."
It's easier to do than debate and learn new things an' stuff. It locates the "dissenter" on a pedestal and mitigates any self-doubts that prior prejudices should be reanalyzed, or previous world-views be questioned, or at least enlarged beyond blaming Ariel Sharon for every hangnail in the world.
Plus they're robots. If they weren't robots, they'd investigate a much more interesting story - that of Robbins and Sarandon and their years-long tacit love affair with Iraq. Funny, I don't hear Robbins questioning why he believed we killed 500,000 Iraqi babies and such Iraqi disinfo he had been mouthing for years.
But to admit one was a "useful idiot," that takes quite a man...

The content of this propaganda piece should be shown far and wide, so the people can see what the lefties really believe. It's the surest way to guarantee George Bush's re-election.

I wish that, when these parrots trot out that "dissent" line of bull, reporters would simply ask: "If your right of dissent is being squashed, then how are you able to talk to me....without being arrested?".
