Good. Our military personnel is showing excellent manners.
My naive civilian guess is that they politely salute, greet with bland pleasantries,
exchange meaningless talk, smile pleasantly, earn an Oscar with a feigned smile during
the requisite photo-op, then give a parting felicitation and salute as the unwelcome guest
is stuffed back onto the plane/copter.
I'm sure our best-and-brightest are giving her the equivalent of that dreaded sign
of total disapproval in the academic world: faint, polite applause at the
end of a lecture, signifying "Thank G-d that's over".
