More info hereAll say they acted in self-defense and used minimum force to subdue unruly prisoners who had attacked them. The soldiers also said conditions at Camp Bucca were chaotic and that guards were being assaulted by prisoners daily.
The soldiers' families said they plan to travel to Kuwait for the court martial. McKenzie's mother, Carolyn Lachemayer, said she expects to see her son acquitted. "He has been in the military 18 years, and has a spotless record," she said. "He would never beat anyone up for fun, like they've said."

Not yet. She would have to criticize and blame President Bush, VP Cheney, or SoD Rumsfeld Or she could cry and curl up in a ball and say she was scared. The media likes that. "See what this bad war (and President) is doing to our women...."

I don't see how this could prevent her from becoming a police officer? depends on the character of her discharge. If it is other than honorable, many government jobs do not hire them. Also, if a company has any federal contracts, they are barred from hiring anyone dishonorably discharged.

And just why would we have 'wiped these bastards from the face of the earth' 40-50 years ago?
To: ConservativeMan55
She doesn't deserve to be treated like this by the military.
What a friggen sham. Clinton legacy action here. None of these soldiers did anything wrong.
So what if they were smacking around a few heathen muslims. Why should anyone care? They probably deserved it.
Instead of screaming, the prisoners that were supposedly "beaten" should have been praying to Allah that their tongues were not being hacked out of their mouths.

Good articleJust so that you can feel the evil of the four accused: Girman, 35, a state police officer stationed in Monroe County, served in Desert Storm and was wounded; Staff Sgt. Scott McKenzie volunteered to serve in both Bosnia and Korea so married reservists wouldn't have to go; Sgt. Shawna Edmondson is a security officer at the University of Scranton and Spc. Tim Canjar is 21 years old and enlisted after 9-11. Real tough hombres compared to the abused Iraqis.

If they had pulled a 911 attack 40-50 years ago. Don't you think we would have responded with a little more force?

8000 to 100. Sounds like a perfectly logical ratio if you are a blind pc advocate. Read in a newspaper the 21 year old
who supposedly broke the prisoner's nose had his uniform taken and there was no (NO) blood on it. More and more I am getting the impression this is a grudge case. **it rolls down hill. timesleader.com has letters in editorial section. Tried to link but failed. Will I never learn???

Thats very interesting. So a prisoner who was supposedly screaming for his life didn't even bleed?

Eventually...when the police forces are privatized...she would be a welcome addition to my company! Darned right, whether privatized or public! The cops got this one down during the pro-life sit-ins. You put them in cuffs, then you beat the $*!t out of them! For good measure, charge them with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer! This lady obviously is getting in practice for stateside duty.
To: ConservativeMan55
That's not what you said. I don't know what would've been done back then and neither do you. You aren't by any chance one of the 'Nuke Mecca and Medina' brigade, are you?
I'll just say that if these attacks were unprovoked, then these soldiers were dead wrong.
To: r9etb
Easy for you to say.
Where are you?
Where was she?
Where are you?
'Nuff said.
