I was shocked to learn that this may have occurred," Hatch said in a statement. "I am mortified that this improper, unethical and simply unacceptable breach of confidential files may have occurred on my watch."
Well, Hatch, were you even a little bit "shocked" and "mortified" about the contents of these memos? I guess not, with the spine of a jelly-fish, the brains of a monkey, and the morals of Ted Kennedy.....

"Which part isn't true? I'm missing something here. It's all true ---as far as it goes. The point is, when the info was leaked that the Dems were planning to use top secret access to "troll' for info to use politically in 2004 (their own memo said this was the purpose), the press kept silent. Now that it seems a GOP staffer was the whistleblower, they report it, but scrupulously ( or, unscrupulously) keep the lid on the contents, import or implications of the memo.

Another great examle of how this "Two-Party Cartel" works. Doncha see why these compromised pols by the left can NOT ever get a conservative agenda passed.

They did more than block judicial nominees. They blocked at least one judicial nominee for the express purpose of influencing the outcome of a particular court case at the behest of a special interest group.
