Neil is the Billy Carter/Roger Clinton of the Bush family -- every president seems to have one off-the-reservation relative. I'd be quite surprised if President Bush regards Neil's antics with anything but disgust.
Roger Clinton was notable simply because HIS big brother president was completely open to Roger's criminal and semi-criminal schemes.
That said, I'm not sure why this is a "news" story. Is CNN having trouble finding negative economic news?

To this day my mother is convinced that the elder Bush started Gulf War I to take the news off of Neil's savings and loan escapades. Sigh...

This is news, because CNN can't find anything else to b#tch about.The economy is doing well,Medicare reform passed,etc., etc..And the Dems only hope is Howard Dean??! They're going to get their clocks cleaned.
