I don't think we should be in either country. I think the invasion of Afghanistan was entirely justified after 9/11 but our contiuned presence in that country is not. And I never believed in the Iraq war. I am 33 but rather fit and just ran the Boston Marathon of which I am rather proud. I had a friend and distant relative who is left wing just join the Marines for officer candidate school even though I advised him against it.

My family has had enough of propaganda wars in WWI, WWII, and Viet Nam.

Why don't you fight them? If you die- that is best. Because if you live with an injury or mental defect- that is hell for years for your family.

What? Hey- I don't take any man's "service" in this bloated military as "defending" me. My father was not defending me or his family during Viet Nam. My Great uncles were not "defending" their families in WWII at Iowa Jima and Anzio respectively and My Paternal Grandfather was not defending anything In WWI when he was drafted! "They" defended the bloated bureacrats in Washington but didn't defend me in Boston or De Moine Iowa for one second.

Serve liars who say we are threatened? Kill for them and see others die for them?- you get a different picture of what is real.
