Wow...I didn't know adultery was prosecutable under the UCMJ.

Oh yes, has to be. Could you imagine what would happen if a soldier had to go to war with the guy who slept with, or tried to sleep with his wife.

don't know about now but back in the late 60's and early 70's, it was taken very seriously. I almost got caught up in that deal while spending quality time (at night in base housing) with a lovely lady whose husband was TDY in alaska.

came out of her apartment one morning and the E-7 next door asked me what my name and unit was...put my right hand over my name tag, said none of your f'ing bizness..hopped in a cab and had him take me to a unit 4 blocks from mine and walked back to mine.

didn't spend the night there anymore either!!!!
