Uhhhh, why exactly? Given the social spending of Tricky Dicky (for purposes of placating the Left's hatred of him) I think GWB's similarities to Nixon are startling.
Say, how did that work for Nixon once Watergate happened? Watergate wasn't nearly as big a deal for a President as selling nuclear secrets to China, the media manufactured incrediably out of it... did all that government waste get him the slighest pass?
I predict GWB's selling out of fiscal conservatism will similarly fail because, in case you haven't noticed...the Left still compares Bush to Hitler. They always will, you don't appease evil, as I thought Bush understood, you defeat it.
He's overcoached, and what's worse, he's hurting the American people with this spending.
