Then why didn't the boyfriend say that he heard her scream? The reporter quoted him as saying that the last he heard was "OMG, No!".

I have read your thread, but maybe I'm missing something. Perhaps the two of you are lifelong friends and your dialog reflects a longstanding level of trust between you.
However, I am taken aback by Catspaw's continuing assault on Ispy4u's Boyfriend Theory. Granted, the boyfriend is many miles away, but from the beginning, one point has bothered me... If my girlfriend, wife or daughter exclaimed, "Oh my God! No!" into a cell phone and was suddenly cut off, I'd be on the hotline with the Pentagon in about 20 seconds. Don't you think there's something a bit odd about him not giving a hoot until hours later?
As far as I'm concerned, he ought to be indicted on some charge somewhere between conspiracy and stupidity.
