I'm not a psychic, I just get the odd feeling that something isn't kosher with the story. I don't have any power to convict the guy, but I don't have to take what he says as absolute truth.

I can't explain why I distrust the story any further than saying that "Oh, my god!, No!" is a little too convinient for me.

You may want to read the story in post #10.

But you still haven't explained the logistics of getting the boyfriend from the Cities to Grand Forks and back to the Cities during a short phone call.

I heard that she didn't say "oh my god no no" I saw on her website www.finddru.com on the message boards there that her boy friend said there was no sound of struggle in her voice she just said "ok ok ok" and then the line went dead. I live like down the road from the Columbia Mall and this is pretty scary coming from a town where since I have lived here hasn't had anything like this happen..plus it couldn't have been the boyfriend..they already arrested the guy who they think did it today.
My Family and my prayers are out to Dru and her family <3

I'm new to this story, only heard about it for the first time today, but I'd like to ask you what you would say if someone came up to you with a weapon? Also, 'Oh my God! No!' is not what her boyfriend heard, it's what the media has put out to shorten what it possibly was. It was either 'Oh my God' or 'No no no, ok ok ok'. About it seeming like a 'Soap Opera' . . where do you think TV shows get their inspiration from? Everything these days is 'ripped' or 'pulled' from the headlines. I realize you wrote this before an arrest was made, so I won't bring up the suspect and how very likely it is that he is the guy who did it. Just from my own gut feelings, I think she is buried or trapped under something, such as a basement or floor boards or a room built into the ground. I live very close to where Ashley Pond and Miranda Gadis were abducted and later found dismembered, one buried in cement, one in an old shed. Everyone thought that these girls ran away, do you know how awful they feel now? Try not to wear your ignorance so much on your sleeve, eh?
